 NOW EVEN MORE SERIOUS FUN IN ARCHITECTURE... ...and currently containing 1048 sites, from 54 countries. Archihub(2) is an architecture meta site, plain and simple. It is basically my collection of architecture sites in general, i.e. occasionally they also venture into design and other areas. There is no commercial interest involved, it's just a free service. Every site is rated and commented, and yes, I can be rather picky and sarcastic, and I really don't like sloppy design... How do I rate the sites? It's based on a lot of things, like navigation, content, design, typography, usefulness, style, updating frequency, freshness, and so on. Basically how I generally feel about the site when I leave it. It was part of the MArch thesis I did together with Erland Flygt in 1996-97, and it became really successful. Then we grew tired of running it, and shut it down by the end of 1998. However, lots of people have asked us to put it back online, so I did, complete with a makeover... Right now the status is such that most of the old stuff from Archihub No.1 has been checked and transferred, except for a bunch of US sites (companies, people). I also have lots more, newer things, which will eventually and gradually find its way in here, particularly relating to people and projects. Oh, and I don't link into databases, like archInform etc. There's no point, just go there instead. I do.
